Since July 21, 2021, in France, a health pass is required at the entrance for all adults (18 years and over), according to the health rules in force. We invite you to prepare this document in advance in order to facilitate your access to the site. From September 30, 2021, the health pass will be required for children 12 years of age and over.

Please note that you must meet a deadline, depending on the vaccine you have received:- 7 days after the 2nd injection for double injection vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca);- 4 weeks after injection for vaccines with a single injection (Johnson & Johnson);- 7 days after the injection for vaccines to people with a history of Covid (1 single injection).

Here are our advice for your visit:

Buy your tickets online at : you will be able to start your visit without going through the cash desk on D-day. On site, please promote payment by bank card 😉

As from 6 years old, please come with a mask! If you have been unable to get one, you can buy some on site, at the cash desk or in our shop.

Start your visit as from 9:30 am (the visit lasts 4:30 on average), book your table at the restaurant Le Quai des Mers (02 33 88 75 60) and follow our signposted circuits to discover:

  • Le Redoutable, the largest submarine that can be visited in the world (accessible from 5 years old): two versions of the audio guide will be offered: one for the family and one intended for experts! Plan to take your own headphones, you can connect them directly to the audio guide (and other scenographic devices).
  • “The Ocean of the Future”: 3 floors of spectacular multimedia spaces where you will discover the last wild territory of the planet: the Ocean, with 17 aquariums on display, including the abyssal basin of 10.70m high.
  • The permanent area “Titanic, Return to Cherbourg” and the magnificent Baggage Hall.
  • In the auditorium, our two original movies : “20 days for Cherbourg” and “When the sea tells about Normandy

During your visit, we will be by your side to guide you. You can wash and disinfect your hands thanks to the hydro alcoholic gel terminals installed.

You will enjoy the open air spaces, once out of the submarine, discover it under her “belly” in the dock. Enjoy a view of the large artificial harbour before entering the Titanic course, or relax in the Northern garden at the exit of the aquariums.
