Until 31 May 2026 Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix are paying a visit to La Cité de la Mer in Cherbourg! After sailing to the four corners of the globe the indomitable Gauls are making a stopover at the centre of a unique exhibition in Normandy, “Asterix and the Sea”. Not to be missed!
Titanic, return to Cherbourg : a collection of artefacts
42 artefacts from the excavation field around the wreck of the Titanic are on display at the heart of the permanent tour “Titanic, Return to Cherbourg” permanent exhibition at La Cité de la Mer. This new collection includes personal effects of passengers found in their luggage, items belonging to crew members or even the liner’s crockery bearing the White Star Line’s logo.
